INTRODUCING THE QUICKDRAW HOT PIPE & SILENCER FOR RC HELICOPTERS, scroll down and click on the THUMBNAILS BELOW.
WE CAN MAKE THIS PIPE FIT ALMOST AN GAS HELICOPTER OR GASSER CONVERSION

Make a Drastic difference in the performance of your Gas Helicopter with the QD Helicopter pipe and silencer!
It comes with an Adel clamp that goes around the stinger portion of the pipe, but you will have to make a small bracket and stand off to mount onto the frame, this is not really difficult and when you have the pipe bolted on you will see exactly what has to be done.

Depending on your flying style, you may want two different flex lengths, the flexes give you the ability to tune your pipe to the RPM range you want to run in. For really hard 3D flying, you may want to try the 3-5/8" long flex, this flex works the best with the lowest gear ratio.  We think it is an 8 to 1, but we are not sure if that is what it is. With the Standard ratio use the 4" long flex, you would need different springs to go with the different flex length also.  Most people get both flex lengths. You can pick what you want, it is up to you.

These lengths were only arrived at by people trying different flexes on their TRM engines and reporting back to us, we have never dynoed one of Al's engines so we don't know where it makes the best power with various lengths. The only way we can know that is to put one on the dyno, so this is just field tested info which is basically the bottom line anyway. It works good on either the 26 or 29 cc engines. Different flex lengths are usually required with different exhaust timings, not necessarily the displacement of the engine.
If we use a 6" silencer it is very quiet and there is NO power loss from the silencer. It comes with a Adel clamp for mounting, but you will need to make a little stand off bracket off the frame to bolt to the Adel clamp. It is a simple thing to do and you will see where it goes when everything is in hand.

The whiplash pipe is $250, comes with a 4" or 3-5/8" long flex, your choice
The 6" silencer is $75
The exhaust flange zenoah adapter is $25
The alternate extra flex is $30
The extra springs to match are $10
1 Adel clamp $8

Info about this pipe and silencer can be found on some of the Helicopter forums, see this link for comments and videos of Gasser Helicopters with our pipe and silencer on them:
