For years we have been building our popular Quickdraw Hot Pipes for the RC market and now we are proud to introduce our pipes for the Losi 5. This pipe works over the widest RPM range of any pipe on the market, it has good low and mid range and it still has excellent top end. It is the only pipe on the market that is very easy to adjust your tuned length, even at the track. You do this by changing the flex joints that are available in different lengths. You can tune the length to work the best for your port timing and you can change the length for different tracks and changing conditions, lengthing the pipe gives you more low end. Shortening the pipe gives you more top end. It is also the lightest weight pipe on the market and it will not crack using the flex joint. This pipe is chassis mounted, not cage mounted.
You can run it as silenced OR unsilenced without having to buy a second pipe!
The Losi 5 pipe Silenced is $375, this includes a silencer and one flex joint 2-1/2" long OR whatever length you specify.
The Losi 5 pipe Unsilenced is $300, this includes an extension tube and one flex joint 2-1/2" long OR whatever length you specify.
A Losi 5 Silencer with and extension separately is $125
An Extension tube to eliminate the silencer is $50
Additional flex lengths are available in 2", 2-1/4", 2-1/2", 2-3/4" or 3" long for $30 each. Custom length flexes are available upon request for $30 each also. Or you can buy 2 feet of flex material for $15, please note that it requires swedging to size after you cut it to fit the pipe couplers, this can be difficult sometimes.
Additional springs are available to work with the different length flexes noted above, they are $10 a set.
The 2" and 2-1/4" flexes use 2" long springs.
The 2-1/2" and 2-3/4" flexes use 2-1/2" long springs
The 3" long flex uses 3" long springs.
The Quickdraw pipe is on green car with the blue roof, notice even though the car was very loaded up at the start (note the heavy smoke) it still got the hole shot and then it was able to pull the field down the straight. This shows the very wide power band available with this pipe.
